What to Expect
At Chesterfield Christian Church you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk into the building you can expect to encounter a diverse congregation of people. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. We are made up of the very young and the those that are getting up there in years. Our services include a nice mix of contemporary, gospel, hymns and multi-cultural worship.
A Warm Greeting
A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.
Dress
Come as you are. Casual dress and jeans are very appropriate for our morning worship service.
Conversation
Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?”. Expect for people to reach out to you in love. We Pass the Peace of God at the first part of our service.
Truth
The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. At Chesterfield Christian Church we seek to explore, understand, and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. You will find a growing variety of resources to help you grow in God’s truth.
Worship
We love music, all kinds of music. Contemporary, gospel, hymns and many other genres are represented. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him. The term "communion" is applied to sharing in the Eucharist by partaking of the consecrated bread and wine, an action seen as entering into a particularly close relationship with Christ. We take communion every Sunday and everyone is welcome at the Lord's table.
